A first in Indian Vitamin C

Not a flavoured tablet.A re-engineered one.

Every other chewable Vitamin C in this market is a conventional tablet with sweetener added to it. Celifast starts from the other end: four formulation decisions, each one removing something that normally sits between the tablet and the Vitamin C inside it.

Proprietary to Celin. Developed in-house, and not available in any other Vitamin C brand in India.

    Micromilled Vitamin C

    Smaller particles, more surface area

    The Vitamin C is milled to a fine, uniform particle size before compression. Finer particles present far more surface area to moisture, so the active starts dissolving as you chew rather than sitting as grit.

    No coating layer

    Nothing to get through first

    Conventional tablets carry an outer coat for taste-masking, appearance or stability. That coat is also a barrier which has to break down before anything else can happen.

    Celifast tablets are uncoated — no shell between the chew and the core.

    Disintegrant-free matrix

    The structure breaks up on its own

    Most tablets rely on an added disintegrant — an ingredient whose only job is to swell and burst the tablet apart.

    Celifast builds a matrix that breaks down under chewing without one. That removes an ingredient rather than adding one.

    Optimised chew compression

    Hard enough to survive the pack, soft enough to chew

    Compression force is tuned for chewing, not swallowing. Too hard and it is unpleasant and slow to break down; too soft and it crumbles in the blister before it reaches you.

    The window between those is narrow. Hitting it consistently across a batch is the difficult part.

Four decisions, taken together, on a product most manufacturers treat as a flavouring exercise. This is why Celin chewable is not built like the others.
